Placement and Training department at Atria Institute of Technology, is headed by Dr. H.R. Ananth who tirelessly works for the welfare of the department and students & is dedicated in developing an efficient recruitment system that can build a reliable pool of talents who can fortify the values of the institute. Students are provided with several facilities so that they achieve the highest scholarly levels and prepare them for positions of leadership and lives of service in all fields of human endeavor.

The Training and Placement department undertakes various activities such as providing placement assistance, career counseling, higher education counseling and organizing training & development programs for faculty and students. It also drives industry interaction, corporate academic partnerships and majorly recruitments.

Endless learning opportunities are provided to all students which intensify and formulate their operational skills required to make a difference in their professional approach and is guided to identify the right opportunities for their future career and support in their day to day endeavors. The Training and Placement Department provides ample support for the recruitment processes conducted by various companies during their visit to college with the requested standard of infrastructure.

Training and placement department handles ON CAMPUS & OFF CAMPUS placements for UG and PG graduating students and has a consistent record of placing the students in various prestigious companies every year.

Career Development Centre(CDC) Overview

The main goal of Career Development Centre is to bridge the gap between academic learning and employment, ensuring students are well-equipped with the skills, resources, and guidance needed to succeed in their chosen careers.


The Office of Career Development Centre provides one-on-one career counselling sessions that assess students' interests, abilities, and competencies in addition to routinely evaluating their academic progress in order to assist, mentor, and support them at every point of their journey.

Training

  1. 6TH SEM (2024) BATCH STUDENTS OF CSE / ISE / ECE WILL UNDERGO SIX DAYS SOFT SKILLS TRAINING, Commencing from wednesday, 7th june 2023 - 9 to 5 pm (thru seventh sense)
  2. MBA - students are undergoing 6 days S/S trg since 5th June to 10th June thru Seventh Sense

Students who utilize Training & Placement services can

  • Take advantage of the career resources offered by the T&P department
  • During the course of the academic program students can independently develop a career plan consisting of networking and interview strategies for implementation during the interview process
  • Students can interact with the concerned HRs during the interview process
  • Any concerns and issues regarding T&P can be brought to the notice of the Head TPO
  • Update the T&P department regarding the future plans regarding higher studies
  • Any support regarding T&P can be obtained during and after working hours

Training & Placement department supports students to

CAMPUS RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

  1. Campus recruitment for final year students will commence from August 1st week of every year during their B.E. 7th sem, MBA & MCA 3rd Sem.
  2. Placement opportunities for passing out students will also be continued depending on the opportunities we receive from the concerned HR’s.
  3. We request recruiters to mail the following details to
    • Job Description
    • Eligibility criteria
    • Passing out year
    • Job Location
    • Probationary / Training Period
    • CTC during training & after confirmation
    • Designation during date of joining
    • Service agreement if any
    • Degrees & Branches required
    • Eligibility Criteria – Marks ( X / XII/ Dip / Current degree/UG for PG) and Arrear Status
    • Selection Process- Test (Online / off line) /GD/ Technical Interview / MR and HR
    • Facilities Required for campus recruitment such as labs/class rooms/ man power/ interview rooms / GD rooms and HR rooms
    • Preferred date to visit campus for a drive
Please NOTE
  • Placement with paid training for students or with consulting fee attached are strictly not allowed in the campus
  • Eligible students must register at the Placement Department based on the JD received by the recruiting company
  • Based on the no. of Eligible students, recruiting company can fix the venue either at college or at their premises. Database of the registered students shall be sent to the concerned HR for short listing at their end
  • If the HR insists the placement department to conduct a pool campus at college premises, we are ready to conduct here in our campus
  • List of Selected candidates and offer letters shall be handed over to the Head Placements at the end of the interview process
  • If there is any delay in announcement of results, students will be permitted to attend the next company of their choice. If the students get placement in the next company, they will not be permitted to get the offer from the previous company if they are selected
  • At the end of every interview process the recruiters are requested to give their feedback regarding the quality of the students. This will help us to improve the quality of students for a particular company through vigorous training
  • Dream offer will be offered students who insist for the same
    • To the companies that offer a CTC of more than Rs.3.50 lakhs per annum
    • Maximum of 2 offers will be given to eligible students :
      1. First day first slot drive if they get selected
      2. One core company
