In consonance with the ethos of Computer Science and Engineering, research activities are always the main focus of our department. The faculty members of the department pursue frontline research work in many areas of the broad field of Computer Science and Engineering. The forefront of teaching and research in Computer Science and Engineering, with a focus on the broadrange of exciting, cutting-edge topics including AI, Big Data, Bioinformatics, Cloud Services, Computing Research, Crypto-Currency, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Self-driving Cars, Smartphones, and 5G wireless.We offer an excellent array of courses at the fundamental and advanced levels, enabling the strong foundation. The research program is designed to promote interdisciplinary collaboration with engagement from other departments and colleges on campus, universities throughout the world and business leaders invarious fields of industry. Department of CS&E has published 135+ papers in reputed international journals till now. Ten Research Scholars under various domains currently pursuing their research leading to PhD degree.
